LAMS Courses

IOT (INTERNET OF THINGS)

Overview: The Internet of Things (IoT) is a system of interrelated computing devices, mechanical and digital machines, objects, animals or people that are provided with unique identifiers and the ability to transfer data over a network without requiring human-to-human or human-to-computer interaction.

GETTING STARTED WITH RASPBERRY PI:

Overview: The Raspberry Pi is a series of credit card-sized single-board computers developed in the United Kingdom by the Raspberry Pi Foundation to promote the teaching of basic computer science in schools and developing countries. This module helps students get started with this amazing device and learn computing in with a whole new prospective.

HOME AUTOMATION WITH RASPBERRY PI:

Overview: The Raspberry Pi is a series of credit card-sized single-board computers developed in the United Kingdom by the Raspberry Pi Foundation to promote the teaching of basic computer science in schools and developing countries.

QUAD COPTER

Overview: Over the last few years we have seen a massive growth in the manufacture and sales of remote control airborne vehicles known as Quad copters. Drones these days have a wide range of applications like area photography, lifesaving drone ambulance and many more like these. This workshop helps students to design and build their own drone from scratch with LAMS SRND made easy drone assembly kit.

AUTOMOBILE ELECTRONICS

Overview: Over the last few years we have seen a massive growth in Automobile industry with respect to electronics. Even cars are becoming smarter, they are predicting accidents, adjusting breaks according to speed, even a lot of electronics is going into the engine. In this session we will be covering all the major parts in a vehicle where electronics is applied with a practical approach by explaining the actual internal components and their working, and also we will be discussing on the scope of Automobile Electronics in the near future.

MOBILE CONTROLLED ROBOTICS

Overview: Mobile Robotics Workshop mainly focuses on Mobile communication and Micro controller programming necessary for the development of a mobile controlled robot. DTMF stands for “Dual tone multiple frequency” using a dedicated modem/mobile at the receiver module, the robot itself send the commands using DTMF tones as per the required actions. Use of a mobile phone for robotic control can overcome limitations like limited working, frequency range & control. Students would develop a robot that can be controlled by calling the mobile phone placed on the Robot and pressing the keys on their mobile phone.

BASIC ROBOTICS

Overview: This workshop will not enable students to be experts in the field but it will surly give them an idea and guidance nowhere to start. This workshop will help the students to enter into the practical world of Robotics, also to create an aptitude in the limitless field of this emerging technology. Face to face & Hands-On-Sessions will be provided to the candidates. This will help them to understand the theoretical as well as the practical aspects of the Robotics World.

ADVANCED ROBOTICS

Overview: Advanced robotics consists of 2 modules:
(1) WEB Robotics Workshop-In this workshop we will be covering how to control a robot over a web for this we first need to discuss about. What is web and how to build website? By this we not only intend on robotics but also we will be convening topics like HTTP Requests Response different protocols.
(2) Hand Gesture Robotics Workshop-Gesture Robotics Workshop mainly focuses on electronic components like accelerometer sensor, micro controllers and various others in Robotics. It basically deals with a robot controlled through hand movements involving human-machine interaction. The robots are controlled by programmed micro controller’s taking inputs from accelerometer sensor. It mostly includes practical training on building robots based on gesture recognition technology.

SWARM ROBOTICS

Overview: Swarm Robotics deals with the Artificial Swarm Intelligence and involves the usage of multiple Robots which coordinate among themselves to complete a mission. This workshop involves development of autonomous swarm robots enabled with master-slave communication. The master robot controls the slave robot while performing its own task and the slave robot functions based on the signal received from the master robot.

MATLAB

Overview: This course is designed for anyone wishing to develop a basic comprehension of programming and GUI development. It is hands-on experience oriented skill development program with extensive applications of computational methods and specific programming exercises. Course will be beneficial to beginners as well as practitioners of different domain. Teaching methodology will be adopted in such a manner that all can cope up even those who do not possess any prior knowledge of computational methods and programming. Case studies of advanced application of MATLAB will be presented by faculty.

NI-LABVIEW

Overview: Over the last few years we have seen a massive growth in Automobile industry with respect to electronics. Even cars are becoming smarter, they are predicting accidents, adjusting breaks according to speed, even a lot of electronics is going into the engine. In this session we will be covering all the major parts in a vehicle where electronics is applied with a practical approach by explaining the actual internal components and their working, and also we will be discussing on the scope of Automobile Electronics in the near future.

EMBEDDED SYSTEMS

Overview: Over the last few years we have seen a massive growth in embedded industry with respect to electronics. Almost the world filled with the embedded devices. Though there is such an advancement we have more to invent toward the technology and in day to day life to conserve the resources.

PCB DESIGN

Overview: Over the time PCB making changes from manual to virtual. This avoids the make errors in the processing of manufacturing. As the technology changes and due to the miniaturization the layered structure is implemented with different communication protocols.

PLC (INDUSTRIAL CONTROLLERS)

Overview: The aim of this course is to teach basic PLC, SCADA, HMI configuration, programming and troubleshooting. As a result of this course students will be able to write PLC programs and configure basic SCADA screens. They will be able to configure the PLC to communicate with remote IO and the SCADA over a network. They will be able to create graphic screens, create data displays and data entry screens, create trends and bar graphs and configure an archive alarms. The PLC elements will be taught using Allen Bradley, ABB, Siemens, Schneider, Ge - Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Omron, Delta, KEYENCE PLC`S. The SCADA elements will be taught using Intellution Fix, Wonderware intouch, Wincc SCADA SOFTWARE.

AUTOCAD

Overview: AUTOCAD is a Computer Aided Design and drafting software widely used by engineers, architects etc., this is the basic software to start with. Good foundation in AutoCAD helps to make good use of different 3D-Modelling software.

CATIA V5

Overview: CATIA (computer aided three-dimensional interactive application) delivers the unique ability not only to model any product, but to do so in the context of its real life-behavior. Catia is a promising CAD/CAM/CAE software suite that helps students to build their bright future.
